The Memorial Healthcare System Division of Thoracic Surgery provides outstanding and compassionate patient- and family-centered care for patients suffering from diseases and conditions of lungs and airway, esophagus, and mediastinum. Our surgeons use the most advanced minimally invasive techniques and technology (including performing robotic assisted minimally invasive surgeries) to diagnose and treat a variety diseases and conditions. Our team works seamlessly with physicians from the Memorial Cancer Institute to develop personalized treatments optimized for patients with lung, esophageal and other types of thoracic cancers. We also work closely with physicians from Pulmonary Medicine and Gastroenterology to provide state-of-the-art care for a wide variety of non-cancerous problems of the lungs, airways and upper digestive tract.
Our surgeons primarily operate at Memorial Regional Hospital and Memorial Hospital West, but we see inpatient consultations throughout the Memorial Healthcare System. We have offices at both Memorial Regional Hospital and Memorial Hospital West. Please call our office, submit an e-mail request on our website, or login into your Memorial MyChart account to make an appointment. We are now offering TeleHealth visits routinely; please let our staff know if you prefer to make your new patient or follow-up appointment via TeleHealth.
